Brazilian player “RaggedRobin” reached two Venom Specials final tables on October 19, earning $31,903 for fifth in a $1,050 tournament and $28,527 for second in a $630 PKO. The $60,430 same-day result was one of several community highlights surrounding ACR Poker's October Dual Venom tournaments.
A day earlier, Pedro Cavalieri (“runnaGORDOfdp”) took second for $78,598 and Pedro Padilha (“PeDeAnjo7”) fourth for $41,865 in the $1,050 Venom Special Sunday Banana. With 499 entries, the event awarded a $500,000 prize pool. On October 19, Alexandre Vargas (“ilovequeensya”) won a $109 Venom Special for $19,347 after outlasting 979 opponents.
At the flagship final tables on October 21, Ukraine's “Pepareg1” reached the top three in both formats. Third in No-Limit Hold'em paid $281,470.65 and second in Pot-Limit Omaha paid $164,672.86. Together, the results delivered $446,143.51, including bounties.
The PLO finish followed a recovery from the shortest stack at the seven-handed final table. Pepareg1 eventually met Mexico's “tigerseyes” heads-up; after a deal that left the two with nearly identical regular payouts, tigerseyes won the title for $239,819.45 with bounties. The NLH championship went to “PushLightYear,” whose winnings totaled $536,577.13 including bounties.
The $2,650 tournaments also beat both advertised guarantees. The $5 million guaranteed NLH Venom PKO drew 2,143 entries for a $5,357,500 prize pool, and the $1.5 million guaranteed PLO Venom PKO drew 602 entries for $1,505,000. Combined prize pools totaled $6,862,500, or $362,500 above the guarantees.
Brazilian ACR Stormer Marcelo Cartana (“CartanaPoker”) qualified from a $0.80 Survivor Flip Step Satellite through $6, $46 and $350 steps. He finished 158th in the NLH event for approximately $8,367 after taking more than 100 big blinds into Day 2.
ACR Pro Drew Gonzalez hosted the October 18 Kick broadcast during the final starting-flight weekend. Stormers also streamed on Twitch, while Chris Moneymaker and Rob Kuhn called the NLH final table. The PLO final table was not streamed, but completed hands are available in the Final Table Replayer.
