Hong Kong and British Virgin Island based crypto liquidity platform outlines LRY utility token launch, early-access campaign and planned expansion into tokenised real-world asset collateral
HONG KONG, Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Lendary (Asia) Capital Ltd., a Hong Kong and British Virgin Island based structured crypto liquidity platform, today announced plans for the launch of its LRY platform utility token on Sept. 21, 2026, alongside a planned Q4 2026 pilot for selected tokenised real-world assets (RWAs) as collateral within its crypto-backed liquidity platform.
The announcements represent the company's planned expansion of its liquidity infrastructure beyond traditional crypto collateral and toward a broader credit model designed for digital-asset holders, businesses and funds.
“Needing liquidity does not always mean wanting to sell,” said Agost A. Makszin, Managing Director of Lendary (Asia) Capital Ltd. “Our objective is to provide a structured way for digital-asset holders to access liquidity while maintaining clear collateral arrangements and defined risk responsibilities.”
Lendary Plans LRY Launch on Sept. 21
Lendary plans to launch LRY, its platform utility token, on Sept. 21, 2026. The company intends for LRY to serve as a utility and participation layer within the Lendary ecosystem, supporting planned borrower benefits, reduced borrowing costs and staking-related rewards.
Ahead of the planned launch, Lendary's LRY Early Access campaign is scheduled to run from Aug. 26 through Sept. 21, 2026. Eligible participants will have the opportunity to secure an early LRY allocation and participate in a campaign offering US$5,000 in total rewards.
The company also plans to conduct weekly campaigns during the early-access period, with US$300 in rewards available each week, subject to the applicable campaign terms and eligibility requirements.
Additional information regarding LRY's utility, distribution and rollout is expected to be announced ahead of the planned launch.
Planned Q4 Pilot to Explore RWA-Backed Liquidity
Lendary also announced plans to pilot the acceptance of selected tokenised real-world assets (RWAs) as collateral in Q4 2026, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, custody, valuation and risk-approval requirements.
The pilot is intended to evaluate how tokenised assets could support secured borrowing within a controlled lending framework. The company said that any RWA collateral would require appropriate verification of ownership, reliable valuation, permitted transferability, enforceable legal rights and defined settlement procedures.
The planned initiative forms part of Lendary's broader development toward programmable crypto credit infrastructure, where collateral management and settlement processes can be governed by predefined policies.
Developing a Structured Crypto Liquidity Platform
Lendary provides liquidity products that allow eligible digital assets to be used as collateral for borrowing. The company's current Borrow and Earn products support BTC, ETH and SOL, with borrowers able to access cash or stablecoins while maintaining exposure to their underlying assets.
Lendary works with institutional digital-asset infrastructure providers including BitGo, Zodia Custody, Fireblocks and B2C2. According to the company, client collateral is held through institutional-grade custody infrastructure and is not re-lent or rehypothecated.
The company is also developing a model incorporating programmable wallet permissions and AI-backed risk monitoring. Under this approach, predefined collateral-management actions, including top-ups, settlement and liquidation, can be governed according to agreed loan terms and risk policies.
Lendary said the approach is intended to provide borrowers with greater visibility into collateral arrangements while establishing defined mechanisms for lenders and other counterparties to manage risk.
