Aurora 15mm F1.6 Receives "Best of Show" Award
SIRUI's upcoming Aurora 15mm F1.6 full-frame autofocus lens received a "Best of Show" Award during IBC 2026 on September 13.
Combining an ultra-wide 15mm focal length with a large F1.6 aperture, the lens features a 0.3m minimum focusing distance, low distortion and a compact, lightweight design. The combination of ultra-wide coverage, large aperture and portability makes it a versatile option for full-frame creators.
The lens also reflects SIRUI's focus on optical design and manufacturing, including the in-house development and production of aspherical lens elements.
New Lens Innovations at IBC 2026
SIRUI's IBC lineup featured several recent additions across anamorphic, autofocus and lightweight imaging solutions.
The Saturn V2 drew attention with its 1.6x anamorphic design, full-frame coverage and horizontal-and-vertical shooting capability, offering greater flexibility across different production formats.
The Aurora series introduced new focal lengths while maintaining a focus on compact design and image quality. The Aurora 24mm, for example, was designed for video creators with low focus breathing and a compact form factor suited to applications including vlogging, handheld video, weddings, events and documentary production.
SIRUI also showcased its upcoming Swift autofocus lens series, developed around the "Daily Carry" concept for users seeking a compact and lightweight solution for everyday shooting. Together with the Vision Prime, Iron-Star and Astra series, the lineup demonstrated SIRUI's expanding portfolio of imaging solutions.
The two new focal lengths in the Aurora series and the Swift series are set to launch progressively over the coming months. For further details, please stay tuned to SIRUI's official store.
