O'FALLON, IL— January 11, 2026 - The Gathering announces the launch of its newest location, Metro East Campus, with inaugural Sunday services beginning January 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Meeting at Dogwood Social House, 1206 Central Park Drive in O'Fallon, Illinois, the new campus marks The Gathering's expansion across the Mississippi River, extending the church's reach to serve communities in Metro East Illinois.

"We are excited to bring The Gathering's mission to Metro East," said Metro East Site Pastor Morgan Goymer. "This represents a significant step in our vision to see the greater St. Louis region transformed one person at a time."

The Metro East Campus represents The Gathering's fifth location, joining existing sites in McCausland, Clayton, Webster, and West County. Founded in 2006 by Lead Pastor Matt Miofsky, The Gathering has grown from its humble beginnings into a multi-site United Methodist congregation committed to making a significant impact on the St. Louis metropolitan area and beyond.

The Metro East launch reflects The Gathering's commitment to strategic expansion, bringing the church's distinctive approach to worship and community engagement to new neighborhoods and populations throughout the greater St. Louis area.
